Environmental Impact The main objective of “Virtual City” implementation was sharing data that let involved organizations and urban development responsible bodies to have more information about interaction of different players projects in the urban area and deciding to find a solution or provide pre-warnings for potential dangers. As an example sharing of information between traffic organization about emissions of dangerous gases regarding the growing traffic in different areas could be used by environmental organization to study special land uses demands for fresh air and inform traffic organization or people about potential problems in the future or taking care of this problem beforehand with extending green area coverage or moving special services or businesses from one part of the city. Integrated systems informs environmental professionals to have a complete understanding about green spaces and their latest status, traffic and their effects with considering future plans, polluting industries or businesses distribution and helps them for offering counter measures much easier than before with leverage of GIS applications power and their specialists to use them. The most important thing is that with sharing information in urban data centre, they don’t have the hassle of collecting data and they will be informed about future disasters beforehand. Also waste waters maps and special simulations using acquired data from other departments such as urban planning, water and waste water organization and health departments can help for finding source of existing or future environmental problems.
