Creating,
planning, delivering, managing and evaluating urban services, as well as
coordinating them among various participant organizations are an overwhelming
job. All these activities take place in different organizations with, traditionally,
none or poor information exchange, internally and externally. Lack of on-time, relevant
and reliable information in public works leads to optimism bias and strategic
misinterpretation, which subsequently cause "cost overrun" and "demand
shortfall". These are two main issues any public works project may face.
Safa
Rayaneh's thorough domain knowledge, extensive efforts and technological
expertise have resulted in a solid, flexible and customizable solution for planning,
policy making and managing urban services. SARA Virtual City is a technological
solution which directly responds to city planners and service providers' need
to collect and use all the information necessary to be able to correctly plan a
city's future and perform service-related functions. This solution is based on
the ground of extensive domain knowledge acquired by Safa Rayaneh by working
closely with city planners and policy maker in municipalities and some other
organizations in public works.
SARA
Virtual City, in brief, is integrated GIS-based, multi-platform solution with a
component-based model, which uses a 3D environment instead of flat forms and
maps, and employs the latest and the most advanced software components,
technologies and techniques to provide users with accessibility, flexibility,
expandability, user-friendliness and accuracy in delivering services to
citizens. SARA Virtual City not only fulfills major part of e-Government, but
also has a full potential to expand to m-Government.
According
to statistics and studies on rapid expansion of IT, growing Internet usage and
governments' tendency towards comprehensive solutions, such technological
systems as SARA Virtual City have huge market, both financially and
geographically. As a successful company with over 40 Iranian cities under
coverage, Safa Rayaneh is standing at the verge of this international market.
Our
presentations and meetings in GITEX 2006 and CeBIT 2007 showed potentials of
SARA Virtual City and drew a great attention from the privately held companies
and representatives of governments from all around the globe. Our perception of
this feedback has made us more courageous and enthusiastic to follow our
expansion plans in the region. In accordance with this plan, we are looking
forward to build a strong relationship and have a close cooperation with governments
and successful companies in the region, in order to achieve our mutual
interests.
